* Communicatio - transportation:
- Land routes: Binh Thuan province lies on the
North-south momentous communication axis. In Binh Thuan, there are 03 national
Highways invested to upgrade and enlarge: National Highway 1A was compledtely in
the early of the year 2000, National Highway 55 to Ba Ria - Vung Tau and
national Highway 28, to Di Linh - Lam Dong has been upgraded and will complete
in 2001. The roads to the center of district, villages, mountainous areas and
important economic zones are also suject to upgrade and enlarge with capital
source mobilized by local government to facilitate production, circulation of
goods and commuting of people.
- Railroad: The 190 km long North - South railroad
crosses the Binh Thuan province with 11 stations.
- Sea-routes: The province possesses island and
international shipping route nearby. Phu Quy - port was constructed and enables
to berth 10,000-ton vessels. At present, Binh Thuan province is investing for
construction of Phan Thiet port, and enables it to berth 2,000-ton vessels. Mui
Ne seaport (15,000 - 20,000-ton vessels) will be built from 2002 to 2010.
- Air-routes: With more and more demand for
conveyance, especially from tourists, investors and trade activities, Binh Thuan
province is calling for investment in Phan Thiet airport reconstruction.

equipment with many modern facilities, enabling easy direct contact with the
entire world through international and national telecoms system. Mobile phones
and Internet services have been used widely, surely meeting customers’ demands.

Electricity:
Electricity source is able to meet an demand of
electricity. There are 03 main electricity sources:
- From Da Nhim hydro - electri phim through the
electricity transfer network 110 KV.
- From Ham Thuận - Da Mi hydro - electric plant
through the electricity transfer networks 110 KV
- There is a 3,800 KWH diesel station. Phan Thiet
area has a transformer station with its capacity of 50 MVA and will be improved
up to 80 - 100 MVA. The electricity network in Phan Thiet city has continuously
be en upgraded and improved to meet an demands of electricity ạt the residential
areas and Phan Thiet Industrial Park.

Water:
- With capacity of 25,000 m3/day and
night, Phan Thiet water supply plant has presently be en upgraded and expanded
distribution system by ADB capital source to meet production and home-use
demand.
- In all districts, there are water supply
stations with small scale of 500 - 2,000 m3/day and night.

Other services:
Banks, insurance, education, diagnosis and
treatment, legal services, notary public, housing and land, construction,
transportation, translation, vocational training, Job placement, etc have be en
fairly developed to meet the demands of customers.
